210-acre park
The 210-acre Wall Springs Park is located on the Pinellas Trail in
Palm Harbor. The park includes its namesake springs and paved trails that wind along the Gulf of Mexico. During the early 20th century, the park was a popular health spa. However, it dwindled in popularity over the years. In the late 1980s, Pinellas County purchased additional property around Wall Springs and turned it into a park. Today, the park is home to a mile-long paved trail system.The 210-acre park also offers scenic views of the Gulf of Mexico and neighboring neighborhoods. Its observation tower is ADA-compliant, with long ramps leading to the third level. A playground for children is nearby. The park also offers picnic tables and restrooms.

Until the 1960s, the spring was used as a bathing area.Originally named Cullens Spring, the spring was used as a swimming hole by the Cullens family. In the 1960s, the Cullens family expanded the area and built a baseball field, horseshoes courts, picnic pavilions, and a sand volleyball court. However, in the early 1990s, Cullens stopped allowing the public to swim at Wall Springs. The park was purchased by Pinellas County and allowed swimming was once again permitted.

Later, it became known as Health Springs and was used as a health spa. In 1948, the Cullen family bought the property, which was used as a health spa until the mid-1960s when it closed. After that, Pinellas County started buying the land around Wall Springs Park.The Olde Schoolhouse Restaurant in Wall Springs Park is open for lunch daily. The restaurant has a 3.5-star rating and takes major credit cards. It offers takeout, is family-friendly and has a wide selection of specialties.
